AI entertainment startup The Simulation (formerly Fable Studio) has just launched Showrunner, a platform that enables users to create and watch AI-powered TV shows set in virtual simulated worlds.

The details:

• Showrunner merges multi-agent simulations with LLMs to produce interactive content tailored to specific virtual environments.

• Users can watch, direct, and star in shows within these virtual worlds populated by AI characters, crafting episodes from prompts.

• Launching with 10 original shows, the platform allows users to generate new episodes and make deeper edits to scripts, shots, and voices.

💻 Apple's AI features leak!

Apple's upcoming WWDC 2024 will focus on practical AI features rather than flashy demos like those from Google, Microsoft, or OpenAI.

Expect Apple to introduce basic yet useful AI tools, such as transcribing voice memos and auto-generating emojis.

Additionally, a rumored partnership with OpenAI could see deeper chatbot integration into Apple’s operating systems.

Recent rumours suggest Apple is working on agreements with Google to integrate their AI, Gemini, and talks are ongoing with Anthropic.

Apple is aiming to keep its AI approach practical and user-friendly.

One significant improvement Apple will reportedly announce is the Smart Recap feature.

This will summarize missed texts, notifications, web pages, news articles, documents, notes, and other forms of media, making it easier to catch up on what you missed.
