🔥 Wan just dropped 2.2 Animate + 2.5 - and it’s insane

China’s Wan models have been making waves in AI image and video generation - and now they’ve leveled up again.

My good friend and creator Victor just released a video on Wan 2.2 Animate that hit 1M views on TikTok.

Watch it for yourself to see why this update is a total game changer 👇

But that’s not all. Alongside Animate, the team also rolled out Wan 2.5.

This update pushes image fidelity, detail, and prompt accuracy forward in a major way. In side-by-side tests, Wan 2.5 is already rivaling some of the most talked-about Western models, and in certain cases, outperforming them!

👉 Bottom line: Wan’s pace of development is remarkable. With 2.2 Animate enabling new creative workflows and 2.5 raising the quality bar, these releases highlight how quickly the AI race is becoming truly global.

🎬 Kling 2.5 makes AI video feel like film

Another China model just dropped. Kuaishou’s Kling AI has officially released its 2.5 Turbo model, and the upgrade brings serious improvements across video generation.

I just posted about the update on X — see the amazing text-to-video and image-to-video examples right here.

How 2.5 compares to 2.1:
Kling 2.1 was already strong, smooth camera moves, better physics, and cleaner characters. But 2.5 Turbo takes a big leap: videos render faster, motion feels more natural, prompts are followed more accurately, and complex scenes with multiple characters hold together far better.

See my comparison right here.

Curious if it can handle your prompts? Give Kling 2.5 a spin here.
